Follow your gut. None of those are bad options. I think you're on the right track in asking here but maybe go to the source - if you have competing offers they should be happy introduce you to people at the firm. Then I'd say try to talk to as many people actually doing the job as possible and make an informed decision. Also, if you're truly passionate about something why skip it now with a plan to do it later? If you're still career exploring that's a different story (prob rec most exposure/exit opps in that case) but... I defer to the "fisherman and investment banker" story. If you're unfamiliar it's a worthwhile Google.
& congrats on the offers. Take a moment to celebrate that.
Pwc is probably it then, it'll probably be easier to jump from their. Maybe even back to the smaller firm
I appreciate that, thank you!
I'm conflicted especially with the PwC role, it is a great opportunity and I feel that if I stick it out I can open a plethora of options in a couple years. But you're right, you have great advice. Thank you so much!
You’re never down and out - not really. Make an informed decision and perform well - exit opps will come. Besides - your ideal opps are likely to change in the next couple years anyway. :)
Follow your passion
I didn't have any so i followed the money
Where is the forensic accounting at?
A small sized public accounting firm in NY
That makes sense, forensic accounting just seems so hard and competitive to get into. I don't want to blow my chance on getting in
I’d take the Associate @HNW family office if you have any interest in finance :)
PwC
Make the most money you can make as fast as possible, whichever leads to that. Do it. You got this, good luck!
