Good. Use your aggressive feelings boy. Let the hate flow through you!
I’d start looking now but I wouldn’t actually leave until you get your designation. Too many posts on here of firms not signing off on experience for people.
I haven't passed the CPA yet - and don't work in PA anymore - i did work 2 years - would the ex employer sign on my hours after i pass the exam?
Start looking but take your time. Don’t settle for the first offer that comes your way. Jumping at the first offer and not finding your fit will just cause you to hate yourself again.
I've read somewhere that you can apply to work at any big reputable firm, but if the boss you work with sucks, then your job will be a misery no matter what. You could care less about perks or status.
Heck, even working for a smaller firm, as long as the people and the boss are nice, it would probably be much better for you (at least to heal while working and you're ready to move on to bigger things).
Burnout takes a while to recover from, specially the longer you've been under it.
It only get worse each year with more responsibility. Jump now. Literally everyone I work with through director is like the only reason we’re here is the $$ (which is true). You will miss holidays, birthdays, dinners, happy hours, etc.
I don’t like to go to happy hours. I am an introvert. :(
Start looking but don’t leave until you get it lol
Id probably apply now, since it could take some time to find the right gig. It’s taken me a minimum of 1 month to find the right role (not the first one that gives me an offer).
I felt this on a spiritual level
