I have 15 years of past experience with SQL, Access, VBA and I tried another career path, but meh, it’s not for me. Last year before I got this job, I took a class in Tableau, but because I got a job, I haven’t gotten certified yet. It’s been about 5 years since I’ve done any data related work and I was very good at process improvement and reporting. Any tips on how to get back into the field?

Have an interesting scenario. Holiday party season is approaching. At one of our parties (during working hours) there is an optional “talent show.” Employees can win door prizes. We have an entry that is a religious song - like one you would sing in church. I assume we need to let this employee perform this - or we are setting ourselves up for trouble. The community is super toxic and I'm looking for a place I can casually ask questions that might seem dumb without being hrangued for not providing an essay proof of the research I've already done.
