I tend to overwork myself and it’s really taking a toll on my mental well-being. I want to learn a lot and prove myself to my superiors so that they recognize me/see value. Now my work has a sense of dread to it. I watched my parents be workaholics growing up, so it’s all I know. I’m also goal-oriented and driven, so achieving a lot scratches that itch for me. But, it’s making me want to quit cause I’m burned out and depressed….im not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have travelled through 30 airports. Can tell you that Delhi airport is the worst. Be ready for a roller coaster ride. Also since you are non indian, and have a domestic flight to catch. You will have to do immigration at airport as not all airports have immigrations. If it’s international flight then it might not be necessary but check with airline.
It’s an international flight not a domestic flight but still I was told I have to go through immigration. Really doesn’t make sense, that’s a couple hundred dollars down the drain
No visa needed
No but for some reason spicejet (my second leg) have mentioned to me that I need to go through immigration to get my next boarding pass.
No visa if you are just transiting Delhi and staying within the secured areas of the airport to hop off from one plane/airline and on to a different one. You only need a visa if exiting the airport, which you have no reason to since your layover is so short.
As long as you’re not Pakistani, or have ancestry, you should be fine
D2’s fear mongering worked. I booked a flight through Oman now
New Delhi airport has extremely long queues for customs and immigration, so I would strongly suggest against leaving the airport during 2 hours layover. It would be risky.
Just to give you some background, passengers are suggested to reach airport at least 4 hours before the departure time to beat the queue, and not miss their flight.
They do have a transfer desk but you have to exit the immigration (from the international side) to go to the other side to get the boarding pass (from Spicejet) and pass the immigration again (most probably but not 100% sure) to board your flight.
You definitely do not need a visa for this. But I would suggest you be quick if possible. Sorry for the hassle.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to call the airline and the airport to get answer to this question?

Yes it is confusing . My experience - no visa is required but make sure you are flying on the same booking both to India and from India flights - otherwise you will be denied boarding . In Delhi - there is a counter which takes care of transfers . Be ready for a long and unusual security check post this transfer desk .
