Smile. Be likable. And when a tough question comes your way, don’t get flustered. I would imagine this final step is more about if it’s a good fit for the agency and client. Break a leg!
By this stage they’re checking for the important intangibles. Do you have some magic about you? Do they get on well with you? They may even be selling you on the job.
What’s important is that you are meeting three people and three consecutive interviews never go smoothly. Expect someone to be late, expect one of the interviewers not to know why they are seeing you. So be ready to stay on point throughout - you might be going from a chemistry check to reminding the boss why you’re here. Ask what else they would like to know about you. Be ready for big picture conversations with the CEO. Be ready to hear a monologue about the company. Be ready to agree with it. Good luck.
Great advice! Thanks.
Good luck! 🙏🏼
Be honest-even if you think it goes again “who they are”. Sometimes they’re looking for someone to shake it up. And if they’re not then you were honest with yourself.
Don’t forget you’re interviewing them, too. Ask them what they’re looking from you in the role? Etc.
Based on my mistakes in the past, I would say focus 100% on determining if you want to work with these people and if you think they foster the type of environment where you’ll be successful. Worry less about impressing them and more about making sure you are impressed. I learned this lesson the hard way, and it sucked.
