I like my current role and the flexibility I have in when and where I work. However, the roll the recruiter is looking to fill appears to be a 30% increase which would take me above my current boss’s salary so I know I won’t get that amount here. Any suggestions on how to navigate the call?

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Not sure if Im hired or not, but are there any questions about the job, comp (cont.)
