I have a track record of working for 3-4 years before making a change in my role or company. I’m in a role right now for 6-8 months and seeking opportunities. Is it frowned upon to not finish a year here or can I make a change if I’m not happy. My resume shows that I’m not a jumper but I would hate to be penalized for a job I don’t see a future in for myself

Biz owners/entrepreneurs: Any tips on how to answer questions where the interviewer would want to know why I’d want to work for a company if I have my own. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). Currently an associate at a V30 and negotiating a partnership position at another V30. What is the correct way to maximize the pay in the negotiation as a lateral partner? I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job. After slowly climbing the ladders, I feel like I finally got a seat at the table. Half the days I like the hustle, but now I miss being creative. I want to take more brainstorming, decision making responsibilities but I don’t see that in the career path for PM. Career path usually goes like this- Sr PM, Director, Sr Director, and so on. But all do same work.

Negotiation in new offer: I’m moving from fully remote to fully in office (with chance of hybrid later) offer for associate director in quality in pharma for 170k base, 18% bonus and 75k equity. I’ve asked for a sign on bonus as I’m not eligible for annual next year and will be missing my current jobs bonus. I should hear tomorrow (asking for 28k). Thoughts about the offer? Should I ask for more equity or is that standard? They’re public (currently ~$20)should I get the hybrid option in writing?

Spoke to hiring manager and they even offered another position which matched my skills. Scheduled a full panel interview. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. At this point you're just like arrrrrrgh😩

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

I think this offer is well below par, but curious to hear what you guys think/if you have any comparisons?

Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job
