Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

What would you do in this situation?

How are you guys handling your mental health with job rejections or not getting interviews? I’m trying to stay optimistic but it’s soul crushing to see people you know get better jobs when you have been on the job hunt for awhile. Changing addresses sucks, why doesn't the U.S. implement a personal "code" based address system?

Meaning if my address code is "A123" then all I need to provide to my bank/employer/friend is my code and if the bank/employer/friend mails something to "A123" it would always come to my most up to date mailing address even if I relocate.
