Would anyone like to practice interview?
Hello Everyone,
I have been actively looking for job opportunities. I am currently working at cognizant from past 1 year as a Programmer Analyst Trainee with Java Full Stack (angular 13).
I have tried applying for job opportunities through naukri.com but most of them require 2+ work experience.
If anyone can help me out by providing a referral in companies like @Amdocs and @Nagarro it will mean a lot.

Are we really debating whose procedures are better? Guys, rule of thumb, if you don't sign the opinion, you don't give a shit about the "procedure". Just do whatever your senior/manager told you to do. A lot of staff 1s trip over the thought of "I can make this workpaper better". Seriously, nobody cares as long as they look the same as last year.
Yea and making selections for testing at EY is also not consistent among clients. At Deloitte, there are templates for getting sample sizes, template for when you need to extrapolate an error, template for thresholds to use when performing substantiveanalytical procedures, there is even a template for performing ratio analysis. I could go on and on.
Because Canvas sucks and tell them a funny story about EY random. You are welcome.
We're the better big 4
Deloitte's commitment in the development of its employees by their investment in Deloitte University.
Don't get me wrong, I love the culture at EY but the firm needs to invest more in technology and resources to make things more efficient for its employees.
Seriously thought, don't ignore the ability to compliment them on DU. The recruiter will eat that shit up. They talk about it constantly internally and even listed it as a part of our "total rewards" lmao
Just go watch the DU promotional videos on YouTube. And HR in the US is a sweet gig at Deloitte. All the transactional stuff is handled by India so the HR people in the US get to do worthless jerk off stuff all day. They'll swear up and down that they create all the value though.
Guys the recruiter was happy! She asked me to emphasize my HR experience on my resume and she will share it with the team!!!!
Be honest. Say you wanted to see what else was out there and are exploring your opportunities. Come up with something relatively PC that doesn't bash your current employer.
I found out that we are the only firm who actually creates audit procedures. 😓
As long as you're honest, make it seem like it's a choice and you weren't forced out the door, you'll be fine. I would have concrete examples of what you can contribute to Deloitte that you learned at EY. Whether it's people managing skills, technical accounting, etc.
All the best OP. You've got this!
Say you can't tolerate being made fun of for the EY song anymore.
Culture + Opportunities. I heard that EY has a Vision 2020 plan and they are over hiring but don't have enough work for growth + development because they also have crazy service delivery goals. Unsure if it's true, but if it is, then talk about that.
Something nice*
When I got hired out of college, PwC offered less than the other big 4. So we told the recruiters and they increased their salary offer to stay competitive. I think if u argue that Deloitte is paying less than a competitor when they give u your offer they will increase it - they already want u if u got an offer.
Deloitte is a consulting shop. They have their legacy clients that bring in the steady audit fees, but all their growth is in consulting. More cash, less risk.
Im in audit in the NYC office and based on me being classy and comparing salaries with my friends, EY and PwC are the same, Deloitte is less and idk about KPMG. But if you're jumping ship, than salary goes out the door since they'll offer you more money.
Okay guys, I need some good pointers here to talk with this recruiter. Salary increase won't fly.
