I have an interview tomorrow at a small tech PR firm in San Francisco. Any tips/advice to help land the job?

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Would it look bad on my resume?

Anyone who could refer me? I'm looking for a big4/ banking/ IB/PE related organisation to join. Have an experience in the US mortgage and a graduate in Management Studies. Have resigned last June, and now it's been 2-3 months I've been struggling to find a job.

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) What can you do if you’re getting interviewed by the same person who didn’t choose you in the first place?
Context: I applied for a position a while back and got interviewed, but didn’t go to the next round. I found the same position open again a month later at a different location and applied. Sanity check needed. We own a home we paid $280k for, 6 years ago. We've begun to outgrow it and are debating building on vs buying.

Building would probably be $350k, would take about 4 months, and would require us to move out temporarily (likely 50-75% of that time), but then we'd have *exactly* what we want. Buying would cost ~$650k (plus $59k in closing costs to sell and buy).

15 YOE, recently started my first tech PR job at a large, stable company & have been asked to get ~20 SMEs in front of media. Subject matter is not sexy. I lead PR for all of U.S. & have no other PR colleagues. My agency’s budget is 100k/year & they’re spread too thin to hit their KPIs. I feel set up to fail & feel we should be focusing on a handful of SMEs and only our sexiest topics. Any advice on mitigating unrealistic expectations for coverage? Anyone handled similar problems in the past?
