I have been in my company for almost 10 years. I have applied for multiple positions and I have yet to move up from my current position. I’m at the point where I feel like I should just go to another company because even my second job is offering more pay per hour just working part time. I just don’t understand how a company I’ve worked for such a small amount of time sees more value in me than one I’ve had almost 10 years with.

Is CIPD a valuable certification? Is it appreciated in Europe only or US too? I have an opportunity to get it but not sure if knowledge is really up to date and worth time spent.

A director in another unit wants to meet me to “continue a conversation we started last year”. He is referring to the time I had asked him if there were openings on his team.
