I have been through many PM posts, and I must say that I am appalled in the writings of the PM’s.
The language in the posts is so unprofessional.
Please note that the true profession of a PM was once an Honourable profession, but the way some of you who are writing are bringing the profession into distribute.
I have so much advice to offer you new ones, you do not live in glass houses and can not lead a project from an ivory tower perspective.
Ask yourself are you better than your team.

Applying to roles within the same federal agency. I know you need one year within the probationary period, but can I apply to a higher GS level? For example, if I'm GS 9, receive a promotion to GS 11 at the end of probation, would i be able to apply to GS 13 roles if I'm qualified? Tried researching this for hours but only found info on applying to other agencies.

Is it a viable business opportunity for a mid level patent litigation associate to leave BigLaw and consult? Service could include pre-litigation diligence (e.g., pre-litigation infringement analysis) for funding companies and law firms, overflow work, consulting for patent prosecution firms that take on ipr or litigation work, litigation consulting for tech companies that don’t have in-house counsel. For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension. I have an offer with Citi, initially it was hybrid model and looks like they are moving back to wfo.. they told only now and I dont have any other offer in hand. due to personal constraints I need wfh or some flexibility types, but they seem a bit rigid as its not in their policy..
