When the team wants to redline my deck

Drinks > food.
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

@D2 WHAT?!?! I can’t imagine doing this job and not getting maximum point accrual. 2x & 3x points have funded two of my last vacations.
That may be my new advice for anyone looking into consulting- check that expense policy!
Accenture allows you :). CSR points for dayzzzz
How is it 1k in fees for csr.
I think what OP is saying is having both cards together would be almost 1k. I don’t recommend getting rid of CSR for Amex Plat. See some online comparisons, but there are a lot of strengths to the CSR that Amex doesn’t have.
Csr is 1.5x points on their travel site csp is 1.25x.
Yes but with that annual fee you get $700 in travel/rideshare credit alone, not to mention the other benefits of the cards.
Which companies allow use of personal CC for company travel? Deloitte doesn’t - so I’m stuck with this weak green with 1 pt for all travel $. Ugh. Wish I could use my CSR
B1 - yeah man what can I say. But then I guess that’s ok since I can tell people it’s harder to get into D than Harvard so it makes it all worth it... or something;)
If you switch over to CSP or chase freedom, can’t you keep your points?
OP Transfers to airlines/hotels are the same with CSP. You’re usually better off with transfers anyway if you want to maximize cents per point
Shameless referral for the amex platinum

PwC doesn't either.
@BCG1 already have CSR, is it worth getting Amex Plat too? I would use CSR for food and Amex for travel
@DD1 I have both, it really just depends on how much you fly and how many nights you’re in hotels a year. Basically the trade off is spending 550 for the plat gets you 200 dollars in airline credit (which you can’t use for flights but currently can use for gift cards) 200 dollars of uber credit, and 5 Amex points per dollar spent on flight vs 3 ultimate rewards points.
I transfer most of my Amex points to delta miles for what it’s worth, and ultimate rewards points to United. So they have similar valuations, which means you effectively get two incremental miles per dollar spend on flying with the plat. So as long as you’re spending 15k on flights a year, you’re getting 30k extra miles which is enough for a one way ticket to/from Europe. That’s roughly the level I needed to be at at a minimum to justify having both
We can’t use personal cards for travel at D so it would have to be all personal
