I have had interviews with 3 different companies. Two have said, “thanks, but no thanks.” I have no clue what is going to happen with the third company. I need the job yesterday. I started DoorDash a week ago.

My question, is it too late in the year to think that I will get any more interviews from the 100+ jobs I have applied to recently?

Please, prayers/good thoughts/positive vibes/whatever you got for that third company to make me an offer. I’m drowning. Literally.

Definitely look at doing document review!! Usually can onboard within a few days, quick turnaround on getting your first paycheck (sometimes paid weekly, depending on the contract), and almost all are remote with no specific jurisdiction of licensure required. Pay is about $25/hr, which is not great but is much better pay than what you’ll get with DoorDash.

I’ve also heard of AI quality control roles that seem to play decently and work similar to the above.

I think most companies/ people slow down at the end of the year until they get their bonuses or figure out financials for 2025. There should be more movement in Q1.

Some companies will probably be hiring to the end of the year. If their fiscal year correlates to the calendar year, they'll want to get a job offer out before 12/31 so as to not risk losing funding for the position.

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

He treats me so well and we get along great. Yes we disagree about topics but have respectful conversations and have both become more open minded. He doesn’t think it’s an issue. I feel like the media and the judgement of dating someone on the right is getting to me & making me have negative sabotaging thoughts. Any advice?
