Fwiw I switched from MBB to a PMM role at Google, and I’ve found the opposite to be true. I’ve learned so many more skillsets since joined, and the extra free time gives me the opportunity to pursue a graduate degree online and start a side business. It’s all up to your ability to push yourself independently of pressure from others.

I went from the APMM program at Google to MBB and thought it was the right decision. As much as I enjoyed the culture and lifestyle at Google, I felt like I was learning and developing much more at MBB.

What is the difference between product manager and product marketing manager
A product manager is someone that acts as the voice of the customer in product conversations and shapes the direction of the product, from ideation to launch. A product marketing manager is someone who finds ways to sell the product, using their understanding of the customer to position it as well as possible.
