The only consideration is that you may not get paid maternity leave if you are not there 12 months. At least that is how it is here

See if they have anything like that in the new hire contract. But most good to great companies don’t have this as a requirement.
And based on what I have read previously, most don’t announce their pregnancy until almost the 2nd trimester. Unless the first trimester is hitting super hard.

Absolutely….. not! You have no obligation to tell a perspective or current employer that you are expecting. You can wait until you’re far enough along in your pregnancy that you feel comfortable disclosing that information and setting up your maternity leave.
