Please do research on these drugs. They have serious side effects that are not widely discussed. And once you're on them, it's hard to get off of them.

Would make sure you know the risks of Ozempic and the like. Exercise and diet management are much better, safer options. Not enough history on these medication impacts. i would be cautious.

My A1C was 6.6 in December. I had been eating high protein/low carb and working out 3 days per week with no results. I started Mounjaro in December and have lost 60 lbs and my A1C is now 5.2. I have had no side effects and feel great. It’s definitely worth the discussion with your doctor.

I tried it - it works for curbing your appetite but it made me so sick. Horrible stomach aches. Diarrhea. Cramps. I would not recommend any drug for weight loss. This one will kill your digestive tract over time. Be careful.

Fasting sugar is definitely not the best metric for diabetes. You could have a high fasting sugar just from eating sweets before bed the night before. Instead,A1C is a better indicator and measures your blood sugar levels for the last few months. Would start there. Then there’s a lot you can do to improve your blood sugar levels, starting with regular measurement to figure out how your body reacts to what foods and curbing the triggers. I haven’t considered the weight loss drugs but know of people that have and are happy but there are risks. Probably good to figure out first if you have an underlying issue preventing your weight loss (like thyroid or sugar) and then considering options.. My two cents!

I've been on the compounded versions for about 15 months. I've tried all 3 - note that each person reacts and responds differently. I've only felt "sick" when I over indulge. I'm hovering at 55-57 pounds lost and I stay on the lowest dose where I can tell it's working. I do try to walk, but I can't always step away to do that with a team that spans the globe.

You have to do what is right for you.

I haven't tried either but have thought about talking to my doctor about it. I have a thyroid disease and it makes it really hard for me to lose weight despite eating healthy and getting regular exercise. I guess my concern is really the long term affects of those types of medications.

I understand your concern—high fasting glucose levels can definitely be alarming. I’ve heard from others who’ve tried Ozempic and Wegovy for weight loss with positive results, but it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any medication.

I’ve just picked up my prescription for Ozempic and will be starting it on Sunday. My husband tried it without much success but he wasn’t willing to also build healthy eating habits. Meanwhile I’ve tried every diet/lifestyle change under the sun so I’m excited to have medical help.

As professional women there are pressures that men don’t face and in my case the sacrifice has been my weight instability. I’m hoping this can help take this personal issue off my list.

I heard Wegovy and Mounjaro are more tolerable. Definitely talk to a dr first - they might start you off on a lower dose to start… Honestly, I feel like every one around me is on it - I can’t seem to lose these damn 20lbs!

Help! If I'm going to fall off the healthy eating wagon, it is most likely between 3 and 4 pm. I believe it is normal for blood sugar to dip at this time which may be why cravings are strong. I really want to move out of my parents place for social reasons etc. I still hangout with friends a lot but it’s just a hassle having to drive a hour or so to kick it with them. So my dilemma is I enjoy saving $ on rent (yes I know can’t have both) but the main reason for me moving back home is so that I can save and buy a house. On the flip side with how expensive houses are right now it’s hard to even buy. I’m in CA btw SoCal. If anyone has any suggestion of places to live for a 26 YO TIA!

How does underwriting compare to PIP litigation in terms of flex time (ability to stop/start work throughout day, work at 2 am if needed, etc)

Does Underwriting carry any time sensitive tasks?
