Hi folks,
I was holding an offer from Cognizant and on my LWD itself I got an offer from a product based company. I have decided to go there. I called my recruiter for my offer declination, he mentioned, they'll blacklist me. For what time can they blacklist me? Will they blacklist me forever?

🙄lots of KPMG hate this week. You should be fine at any of them to move to senior, except maybe PwC which I think does 3years for associates. I don't think you need a resume stamp to have a good career, but there can be more opportunity at the bigger firms.
@SA1 I've seen another "3.5" comment around here and I'm guessing you and that commenter are the same. What happened, did KPMG hurt your feelings somehow? No, I'm not at KPMG but pettiness like that just bugs me.
Usually Big3.5 will take you as a senior after you've had at least 6-12 months experience as a senior in a mid-sized firm. I've seen managers from mid-size firms get set back to senior when coming into Big3.5. I recommend waiting 5 months before applying. By the time recruiters reach out, interview, and eventually make the offer you would be a senior witg roughly 6-7 months experience under your belt. Stay away from KPMG. They're basically a mid-size firm playing with the big boys. #Big3.5
As much as they try to be different but they are all the same
Don't wait 5 months just to wait if you want to go, just do it
I just did the same! It depends on who you work with honestly and what clients you are on.
Senior associate 1 - totally disagree on your 3.5 comment. Have been with other big 4 and in big 4 for many years and KPMG is very comparable to the others,at least in my large market. If you have legit criticisms, fine but your comment is petty, immature and uninformed. In fact, I work on larger Fortune 100 clients here than with my old Big 4.
^^haha @😂😂😂 do lots of people share your thoughts on KPMG. I think any big 4 firm looks good on a resume, no?
