Do you think Product Marketing Manager roles in industry are a good way to get your foot in the door to product? I have zero interest in marketing but I really want out of consulting. Or should I keep my focus on Product Owner and Product Manager roles and keep networking?

Now i have been interviewed and selected for Ameriprise where I would learn on the job and work on workday finance.
No WD certification.
Will it be a good choice in the long run?

Recently i was selected for a Talent acquisition role, i heard earlier that Publicis sapient is giving Wfh to all employees but for my case they are asking to be onsite.
Is it only for Talent acquisition team they are only asking to be onsite?

I recently interviewed at a fast growing pre-IPO company for a Strategic PM role and I was sold that the comp should be around $180-200k plus RSU which should be about $300k annualized TC if all goes well. I worked at LinkedIn and one of the senior leaders was sharing screen during a meeting. The conversation shifted but the leader didn’t stop sharing screen. This person navigated to Yahoo news and clicked on an article filled with women in bikinis. This individual spent a solid 2-3 mins on the article scrolling and stopping to look at each woman. Needless to say this leader was very distracted by other things on our call.

Do all PM interviews have case study and strategy questions? Have you had an interview where you weren’t presented with them? I have two panel interviews with the same company coming up and was just curious!
