If they did not care enough to provide you support, you should not feel guilty when you leave for a place that will. Some bosses are willing to work people into the ground so you have to do what is best for you. And hopefully they learn an account cannot lean on just one person.
Thanks for those words. I’m very early in my career and TRG is my first agency so I definitely feel gaslit sometimes to believe that so little support/low pay is the norm. Thanks again!!
Intel is a meat grinder of a client, from what I’ve heard (former VMLer) but the people on that account are really good and it’s a great agency overall.
I felt this same way moving from a small agency to VMLY&R. At the end of the day, if they needed to, they'd get rid of you. It's a transactional relationship and you have to do what's in your best interest! VML is a great company, and I've heard Intel can be tough, yet rewarding and you learn alot. Also, I'm curious about your offer details. Do you mind sharing via DM? I'm always trying to collect salary info for the account dept! Would appreciate it.
i’m sure it would be a breath of fresh air.. the CD on the intel business is super talented
Don’t feel guilty about leaving a company, because they (TRG) will not feel guilty about letting you go when the time comes.
