I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I also do the whole ideating alone for the first step then coming together with my partner!
I usually talk about my love of researching and immersing myself in each brief along with finding brands and campaigns that use similar strategies to create quick idea mood boards. And then I talk about the importance of looking at the problem from my point of view first and coming up with as many ideas as I can before coming together with my partner to see what sticks. I also usually mention that I go through all of my ideas no matter how dumb they might seem to me because someone else could look at it and see it in a different light to create something really cool.

I feel like this question is just asking if you work better with a partner or solo, or what your preference is, especially if they already have a partner picked out for you, or they plan to have you working solo a lot. I always say it depends on the needs of the project and that I do well brainstorming both with a partner and solo.
