I’d stay put. Vanguard will likely have better fees over the long term. $1.8k is nothing compared to $1M+
Discuss with your current advisor if you have one, or a random CSR and try to leverage it in some fee reduction or benefit. Even if nothing comes from it, I'd still stay put at Vanguard
I’d consider it. But, it would depend if I could continue to invest in same funds for similar transaction fees. Also, need to take into account the time spent making the transfer happen. Probably not worth it if it’s going to take much time.
Any tax implications? Can kill the deal
