I agree. Others may have their views. Complete WFH decreases productivity of new joiners.
And one more, ye policy unhi logo ne banai h, jo already settled h, and they just want to come to office to run away from family

Hybrid is the worst one to have mostly for the people who are joining offices from different states.

Agreed. I tried to push back saying that atleast allow 2 weeks office, 2 weeks wfh kind of model but did not get much support.
One full week of office and then complete remote for 3 weeks would be better option..

Dude, the freshers coming now did courses online/remote and are smart enough to still collaborate. I personally more collaborative , extrovert when working remote compared to in person

The screen sharing and collaboration tools have improved a lot as well. Companies are looking at opening satellite offices as well.
At the end of the day, it probably depends on the project, team and people within. Some may work quite well even in fully remote. Others would have probelms even when in person.
Wfh works best for me
The impact is 50:50.
Postives are you are saving fuel, time, rent and we can reduce the impact of loans and all as we will be in our hometown.
Negatives is we learn better when we connect face to face . I can explain/gather info more conveniently f2f rather online.

Collaboration for work can happen online or offline. You need to be in office in person to play " politics" which is another dimension of this collaboration.

It is just personal choice. Regarding collaboration, 10 yrs back, when I was fresher, I use to sit in NOIDA and my entire team in Bengaluru but I never feel any lacking in KT or collaboration.
So it is just a perception that WFH impact collaboration.
Now, companies already knew, work can be done and no requirement of on-site. So even if you make hybrid it doesn't matter.
For me hybrid doesn't make any sense, either complete office or complete wfh. Companies are saving cost in hybrid, but for employees same expenses increases.
There is already very low onsite, doesn't matter the model follow, increments are same, inflation is going up, and we all know real estate cost after corona.
So the only option left for employee is work from anywhere to save some money or to go everyday office to save atleast broadband and electricity bills .
