I know Mondays are supposed to be hard, but I REALLY struggle. My body is physically tired (regardless of whatever I did that weekend) and even with medication I have a really hard time focusing. It’s like my brain is half asleep the whole day. I don’t take medication during the weekend to give my body a break and I sleep a lot more, so I feel like I should be rejuvenated? It’s almost like my body vehemently rejects sitting in front of a computer even after a short break. Anyone else?

It’s like I wrote this. I also don’t medicate on the weekends and pretty much sleep the whole time. Then on Monday when I take my meds it’s like they don’t work. I think our brains are really dopamine depleted by Monday after not taking meds over the weekend. So it’s like playing catch up.

I take my meds on the weekends and feel similarly on Mondays. But my weekends are spent 100% with my toddler so I always thought it was my body/mind finally having the chance to rest when he goes back to daycare lol

I don’t take medication and they are a struggle for me too. You’re not alone!

I am scheduled to fly from NYC to Mumbai via Paris next Wednesday (Jan 5) for a ~10 day trip. Have any of you, your family, friends, etc. flown a similar route (I.e. from US to India via Europe) in the past week? If so, what is the arrival process (Covid test, quarantine requirements, etc.)? Okay, so I have pretty bad cystic acne, clogged pores and enlarged pores. I’ve been using curology and a mild dermatologist recommended soap. I have seen some improvement, however I was curious if anyone was struggling with it and has tried the “Flo Vitamin gummy’s “ on top of my fertility struggle this really has kinda killed my confidence. I see a lot of people who have crippling anxiety here work out to feel better. My crippling anxiety kind of paralysis my legs (or at least feels like it to the point that I can’t even walk). Does anyone have similar symptoms and solution for it?

Is a TRX sufficient for getting back into shape? I’ve definitely wasted these past two months but I probably won’t be going back to work until after July so I’ve got time to build a foundation once gyms open back up at a decent capacity

My blowout shrinks so fast. I would like to use a flat iron to help, but I've never used one before. Would straightening it at 150-180° even do anything? I don't want heat damage, so I don't want to go above that.

Anyone here have comorbid anxiety and/or depression? How did you know, and how do you manage it now? I think I might be struggling with one or both and I’m trying to figure out how to proceed. Not currently seeing a therapist or medicated, managing based on strategies I learned from an ADHD coach back in college, so at minimum I would need to find a provider, which has been a barrier (cost-wise, finding someone with experience with ADHD, etc.)

How do you deal with making mistakes at work? I’ve been doing good work lately but there’s one partner who thinks I’m mistake prone and I just made a mistake on something he asked me to do, but I corrected it quickly. However, there is public record of my mistake.

After 4 years I want to leave law because of my adhd! I have been to 4 different firms and at each place I feel like I have been “found out”. At every place at least one attorney catches me about my attention to detail. I am so down on myself now. I can’t bring myself to care about small details that I know don’t actually matter. Should I just quit the legal field?

I have been a paralegal or legal assistant since 2010. I have worked for small and large firms and a TPA. I've worked in L&E, PI, and ID. Billing hours gave me nightmares. Right now I'm in a hybrid paralegal/LA position where I'm responsible for all of the docketing and supporting the managing partner and 1 associate and their 90+ ID caseload. Does anyone have tips/methods for staying on top of all the little things? I’m in litigation and it’s a constant struggle to make sure I have accurate and up to date ‘bring ups’ and that I float anf rename all my emails and get all my time in and update my partner etc. like I can maybe get 1 or 2 but I’m never on top of everything and it’s so hard!

What are your strategies for completing work efficiently? How do you figure out how long projects should take? A consistent piece of feedback on my yearly reviews has been that I over-bill & spend too much time on assignments. Does anyone work in an area with lots of exterior environmental noise (traffic, concerts, trains, etc.) and have tips for not becoming overwhelmed and/or distracted by it? I’m finding that environmental noise has increased near my office now that tourism has picked back up in my city, and I’m struggling to block it out. I’ve tried earplugs but the noises tend to vibrate my office building so the earplugs don’t work well as an entire block.

Are people still live on here? I was diagnosed last year with ADD and I’ve tried two stimulants so far. I know they aren’t meant to be a magic pill but I’m still struggling with general tasks and feel like I’m doing the bare minimum. The Nurse has suggested I try non stimulants.
