I know this isn’t a job board but what the heck...anyone’s firm hiring remote securities attorneys? Older second year associate with 5 years of pre- law school and 5 years post-law school prior relevant experience. Most recently 1.5 years of traditional cap markets/securities law experience.

Ah ok got it, thank you. Best to put an app in online? Let me me know if you have any advice or suggestions or someone I can contact and happy to DM.

There are certainly remote securities job openings -- Do you have a recruiter that you like and trust? I don't know what market you're in, but if you're getting calls, take one or two and explain what you're looking for. DM me if you want more specific recommendations, as a lot of roles are open for "any US office" - and many times this indicates some flexibility for remote, but the firms will need to coordinate locations for state bar/liability insurance reasons, so they aren't necessarily advertised as "remote"...

Got offered to come on as a full-time employee after working for Guidehouse as a contractor for about 4 months. My position wouldn’t change, but after speaking with the recruiter I have a feeling I’m being low balled. I have over a year and a half of consulting analyst exp prior to contracting, and am currently acting as a team lead on this project. Am I wrong to expect a pay range of 70k-90k? They’re currently offering a little less than 50k

I work in a small team in sales at a bank and my boss doesn’t let me engage with any of our clients. I have a meeting with him to discuss my career goals next week. How do I tell him that this is not what I want from my career? Hi Fishes, Accenture has openings in their mobilization team under the ops division. I have been offered a role at CL9 with fixed component of around 15 LPA. I have 5.5 YOE. The offer is approximately a 100% hike on my previous salary however i was able to negotiate on my current offers from from EY and FSL (both less than Accenture offer). Is the HR lowballing me and would you have any feedback for the mobilization team. Thanks

I need perspective. I was scheduled for a bunch of spa services today before a vacation. Early in the morning, a spa lady calls me to reschedule. I tell her I can’t reschedule due to my job. She replies that she remembers me mentioning that from a previous appointment she “helped me rescue.” She never acknowledged knowing me prior to that comment. I was offended as it came across as judging my stress level and availability based on a service I received years ago. Did I get unreasonably upset?
