I love working from home, but I despise that company culture is basically just "zoom happy hours" they force us to go to so we can bond. We don't need to bond. Nothing will change for me as far as my job goes if I don't know anything personal about my coworkers.

I started my new job completely remotely in June and when we go back to the office, it would be a 1.2 hour, 40-mile one way commute.. What holiday party did you get?
Anyone living close to an office, got a holiday party with food and drinks, and the venue started open for them until around midnight. Our remote workers got a one hour party w a DJ and trivia that let you win gift cards. Yeah it was nice to win a gift card but I found it lame in comparison to hanging out with my team in real life.
