I miss my dog whenever I'm on deployment. How do you deal with missing your pets whenever you're far from home?

I video chat with my family and make sure to say hi to all my dogs. Makes it a little easier

like

You have to make sure they are in good hands and that you will be seeing them again soon.

Seeing pictures of them playing, happy, and being taken care of will help.

Just remind yourself you will see them again.

I totally get this and I feel the exact same way towards my dog. I always like to make sure that they're with someoen who I trust and also someone who will communicate with me frequently. There's nothing worse than going days without hearing how your dog is doing. Hopefully yours is with family and is getting lots of play time with other dogs and/or kids! Stay strong!
