12 years of experience. MBA from local state school. CMA (Certified Management.

Experiences continued below. Overall social and easy to get along with, don't mind getting hands dirty to help on projects, even outside my direct work responsibilities. I know my early experiences included lateral moves, which in my mind was to try and experience different business areas.

Any recommendations how to best prepare for CGFM exams? What resources did you use?

I have an interview coming up for internal audit manager. Currently in external audit. When asked about my experience in ERM - what would you say Is transferable skills that I can leverage in my answer?

I was hired a few months ago by D to do data science. I am not doing data science currently, is there a way I can switch roles internally? Should I talk to my coach? I have an offer for $130k for a senior attorney position in a boutique L&E firm. Also have a recruiter who thinks she can get me into another for $150-170k. Both are more than I’ve ever made (Denver, 17 yrs of experience but completely different practice areas). Any tips for countering the $130k offer for more using the other potential offer while not risking a complete withdrawal of the current offer? Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket.
