What recipe did you follow? There are a lot of ways to make bread, it's hard to debug without knowing what process you're using.

Oh I didn’t know there’s different type of yeast. That’s good to know!

Maybe try proofing the bread in a warm area like microwave and then put a warm towel on top. I can also suggest maybe using more yeast or making sure when you mixed the yeast in or proof that it’s not too hot that you don’t kill the yeast

I also heard adding some lemon juice can help since the acid and yeast speed up the process
