I put my 2 weeks in and I literally have no billable work right now. Are they watching my billables? Can I just chalk this up as part of my "unlimited" vacation time? I'm available if needed, but also working remote, so could get away with doing bare minimum, I think.

You think they’re going to call you and tell you to bring your billables up? Enjoy it. Don’t use vacation time. Transition your matters and take a nap.

like

Don’t sweat it. If they needed stuff they would reach out to you.

like

Don’t even worry about it. Don’t email racial slurs to anyone and otherwise just ride it out.

All I did in the last couple weeks of my notice period was catch up on CLEs and write very detailed transition memos.

You quit, so who cares? They certainly don’t.

like

Why would you or they care if you already quit? I would do as little as possible during the notice period.

I’ve been a search manager for 8 years. What kind of role can I take on at a place like Google etc ? I am trying to figure out what’s next for me. I’ve considered client side, a lot marketing director roles that I think could be a good fit but I feel lost. I am tired of no upward movement in my career.

What are the best responses for “a time when you led a team” in a consulting interview, for someone who has not had a managerial position (1 yoe) before? I also don’t want to use an example from undergrad so I’m kind of stuck. What are they really looking for in this question? Initiative? Impact? People skills? And how would you differentiate this vs “a time when you worked in a team”
