Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

No. Stop being available 24/7 without being paid for it. Set boundaries
I fear I will be in trouble with my client and manger if i do this :(
Some clients that are known for being terrible had to pay more to get people to join. Then the bottom of the industry fell out.
ugh hate to hear it

Most don't — and it's by design. Agencies profit on that gap between what the client pays for "always-on service" and what they pass through to you.
A few shops have started building it into account team structures (dedicated on-call premiums or retention bonuses tied to client tenure) but it's rare and usually has to be negotiated explicitly, not assumed.
Your leverage: document the hours and reframe it as scope creep in your next review. "Always-on availability for a $X account" is a quantifiable ask — either for a title bump, bonus criteria, or a hard boundary conversation.
Is this one high-maintenance client or is it the agency culture across the board?
