I recently completed a panel interview for a Lead Solution Engineer / Agentforce SE role at Salesforce (Toronto)
Had a few quick questions:
•How long does it typically take after the panel for a final decision?
•What base salary is commonly offered for Lead SE roles at Salesforce & what does the RSU/equity component usually look like?
•Is the base salary fully fixed,or is there a split between base & variable/OTE for this role?

For context,I mentioned a base expectation of 150k–180k CAD

Hello!
I’m a student majoring in Software Engineering. I’m starting my third year in a few months and have an internship where I’m learning more about working with an actual team on real-world projects. However, I feel like I need to do more to stand out and have a stronger software background. Anyone have any tips or suggestions for what I should do on my own time to strengthen my skills?

I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. What should I reasonably expect from a junior?

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.
