I recently inherited $300k (cash). I want to invest it medium/long term (I do not anticipate to need it for 8+ years at minimum). What do you recommend ? I am fearing market is somewhat at peak. Should I DCA across multiple ETFs over a 6 months period?

Dollar cost average over the next 6–12 months into the ETFs you want to invest in

I would DCA into S&P500, Nasdaq 100

Purchase a mix of these investments first:
Strong Buy's for ETF's
US Energy Ishares ETF (IYE)
Superior Drilling Products Inc (SDPI)
GX Miners ETF (COPX)
Aerospace and Defense ETF (PPA)
S&P 500 Energy Sector SPDR
Silver Trust Ishares (SLV)

Stock Buys:
Steel Dynamics Inc (STLD)
Maxar Technologies Ltd. (MAXR)
Thor Industries (THO)
Occidental Petroleum Corp (OXY)
McDonald's Corp (MCD)
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO)
Shopify Inc (SHOP)
Mcewen Mining Inc (MUX)
U.S. Gold Corp (USAU)

Futures:
Tin Refined Cash Cash (Q1Y00)
Nasdaq 100 E-Mini Mar '23 (NQH23)
Crude Oil WTI Mar '23 (CLH23)
Coeur Mining Inc (CDE)

Then consider investing $5k max in Ethereum based cyptocurrencies that support the blockchain. My top 3 for 2023: Metis Dao, OMG Network and the Graph (GRT). Consider investing in Decentraland (Mana) but only for day/night trading. Watch the rates hourly and sell at the high. Then convert to USD coin and wait until next wave. APE Coin is also a good temporary buy.

My investing strategy is just to DCA into an S&P 500 index fund and keep buying and holding. If I understand correctly, the sole disadvantage this has compared to a tax sheltered retirement account is that the quarterly dividends will be taxed? But even so, they’ll be taxed at a lower qualified dividend rate since I’m automatically reinvesting those dividends.

So what are other ways in addition to those mentioned is there to help secure you into old age?
