Is this your first pregnancy? 17 weeks is nothing- many women are barely showing at that point. Also, second trimester, likelihood is you may feel your best.
I’ve gone on 7-8 hour international work trips at 10 weeks, ~15 weeks, and ~29 weeks. It was fine.
You’re thinking too much - go if you’re excited about going.
You may not even be showing at 17 weeks. I started a new job where the first week was at a major investor conference when I was 21 weeks pregnant. I don’t think anyone knew or would have cared if they knew.
I was able to easily cover my 2nd pregnancy at 17 weeks by wearing stretchy wide leg trousers. No one had any idea.

You are a saint for sharing the link to something I didn't I needed. thank you!!
Definitely still go. Don’t let pregnancy take you out of opportunities!
How do you feel now? Usually around 15-20 weeks is one of the best times to do things because you are out of the first trimester, getting some 2nd trimester energy but still not a huge bump to carry around.
If you are excited about it, definitely go.
You should definitely go! You will likely be barely showing and will likely feel better than you do currently. I would also find it very odd if one of my employees didn’t want to go to a work event that early in pregnancy and not for a legitimate health concern. Go and have fun!
I attended a training conference at 30 weeks. I needed comfy shoes and a big water bottle but otherwise it was great. (I couldn’t go on the roller coasters in the after party which was a bummer but still walked the park!)
If you are excited about it, absolutely go for it.

Thank you all so much! I have a bit of a bulge now which I think is just bloat (my stomach just looks like I'm a bit out of shape but not pregnant lol), however, I'm hoping it subsides in the second trimester. Aside from that, I've had a really comfortable pregnancy experience thus far so I think I'll go!
Good for you! FYI- I had bloat in two pregnancies that went from about 7 weeks to 12-13 weeks. And the bloat went away for a while before the real bump came in. :)
You’ll be good and still able to hide. Especially in October with layers!
Definitely go! I’m 18 weeks with my second, and I show really early so I look very obviously pregnant, but I have been traveling a ton for work and am going to a conference next week. This is the part of pregnancy where I feel the best and have the most energy, and even though I am showing I am definitely not super big or uncomfortable yet, so I think it’s the perfect time to go to a conference! Wear compression socks on the plane though just in case.
I would go to the conference! At 17 weeks I was barely showing! I did also go to a conference at 34 weeks and at that point I was def showing, however I still had lots of fun!
