Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

You cleared the interview because of your skills. You have the basic skills required for the job. Imposter syndrome is part of tech world dont worry too much about it.
If you really want to try out product based work then go for it. You cleared the interviews so you definitely have the required skills and rest you will learn. If it’s a new technology then there must be limited talent in market and anyways the company won’t have many choices. Company leadership would know that everyone will have a learning curve. If couple of months down the line you don’t like it then you can always switch to service based company. You will always have this experience as a differentiator to enrich your CV
Go for it OP! Don’t let imposter syndrome take over at this crucial moment 😊 You have invested time in skill development and this is the time to reap rewards 🎊
Great answer. I would also suggest the same. You need to challenge yourself and take this as an opportunity and learn the new technology. Don't fear out of the job. Fight for it.
