There are many good points as well.But this things takes a toll on my mental health and everything time I go to say sorry or talk he shouts at me even after a week his anger doesn't subside. I have tried everything from talking to suggesting about going to a therapist. He even admits he won't change and won't talk to anyone. He is like a red flag in another level.

Divorce should be last step. First try to ignore his behaviour and make some good friends around to talk if he is not talking to you. May be his behaviour change when he realise that this silent treatment method is no longer bothering you.
Kid
I guess, he has been hurt or sad by something.
Also I feel, he might have made up his mind on making some decisions in life ahead.
Try to make his siblings, cousins, relatives talk to him and see if he is talking what's on his mind.
If this doesn't work, leave him and live a good peaceful life.
No one deserves to be in a toxic relationship ever.
