Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

There was really bad fog in NYC this afternoon that kept coming and going quickly. Maybe they first thought you wouldn’t be able to land but then they were cleared to continue? If there was anything wrong with the plane where they tried to land in Cleveland, I doubt they would suddenly be ok to go on to NY.
I flew every week for 10 years. I don’t think that was normal today...
BCG1: that’s helpful!
Looks like they slowed you down for spacing/ sequencing into NYC. Pretty normal. Slow airspeed down and circle. Especially going into weather.
Altitude didn’t drop, just speed. Pilots likely had the flight attendants secure the cabin prior to passing through weather because they were going to have the FAs sit for the remainder of the flight.
It’s called turbulence. It’s when the laminar flow of air over the wings is disrupted due to wind patterns. It’s normal.
Thanks! That was the circle I saw on the flight map and why did the yellow line dropped?
Yellow line at the bottom graph
Saw on the flight map circled around Cleveland and that’s when the flight asked to prepare for landing. Luckily nothing happened but was such a scary experience. Asked to prepare landing again once we were closer to LGA
Probably the flux capacitor. They are usually only good for 400-500 hours then need to be replaced. Pretty easy swap and replace once you remove the vortex generators on the wing.
Also any additional shuddering you felt was likely use of speed brakes (spoilers) at altitude.
Did the cabin pressure drop or oxygen mask came out? If not pretty much what others have said. Usually the pilot announces weather conditions when they get worse so wondering why your pilot didn’t?
