Where my Portland Advertising people at??
Did 4 rounds of interviews. Last 2 with 2 partners at EY. Haven’t heard back even after 1 month. One partner even commented “you will be a good addition to the team”. Hiring manager gave EY email after her interview call with me.
Fast forward two weeks, no communication. Recruiting was surprised that I was still chasing for this position, month later. Got to know last week that hiring team was continuing to interview candidates. Should I drop the idea to get hired? EY hasn’t rejected me yet.

That's a safety measure that we just have to respect though. I don't really mind as long as we can still do our jobs.
It's useful, but sometimes I do feel they can be excessive
It serves as guidelines. There is actually nothing we can do about it. Besides, it can indeed be useful.
I am okay with their powers. I can still perform my job. And I think they are doing a good job.
I know what you mean. They could go overboard sometimes. It is just frustrating because we are also capable of doing some of those things.
These boards are a terrible idea and will only increase crime for many different reasons.
