1/. Help with brilliant account management: make copious notes, follow up on everything, write a clear and complete contact note to send to the client after every call/meeting with next steps and deadlines
2/. Listen. Listen to your client, to your leaders, to industry experts. Understand what you are doing and why it matters and what the client's reality is and what they are dealing with.
3/. Don't drop the ball. Reliability and consistency won't get you promoted alone, but without them you will always have a question mark hanging over you.

Just ask people straight away what acronyms mean. The only difference between your level and account management is speed. In my opinion it’s very much a learn on the job type of role I don’t think any amount of books can help you deal with people but constantly reading widely helps with reading emails and comprehension.
To really take things to the next level beyond the typical account management / project management side of thing, it is beneficial to truly understand profitability and how you can make your clients profitable for your agency.
At the most foundation level, you are the sales person for you agency nurturing those relationships and the more profitable you make your clients for your firm, the better finance will view you.
I would take the time to understand how your agency defines and values revenue and profits, this also would include resourcing, and then make it your goal to help optimize that us much as possible.
Of course, the more you can show this progress the better for your sake.
