So… ask?
I’d be outing myself as unvaxxed. There are people lurking out there who think unvaxxed deserve to die.
I’m not putting my financial well being at risk over this.
What medical condition?
I have abnormal heart rhythm and genetic high cholesterol. My cardiologist has advised me to avoid. Myocarditis for me wouldn’t be “mild” or inconsequential.
I also had convulsions after a DTAP vaccine as a child and was hospitalized. So even without the heart condition I’d probably be declining.
If you must know.
Pro
I would ask but chances are if they don’t bring it up it isn’t a requirement.
Just ask. If you have a valid medical waiver likely you would just be asked to test if you are coming into the office.
would agree that if it is not mentioned in the interview process it is not a requirement. i think there’s an understanding there so I would maybe let it go for now. if you get hired and they come out of nowhere with a requirement, then you would have to wonder what else they’re hiding
Why would you think that? When you were hired at PwC it was never mentioned in the interview process that wearing clothes in the office was a requirement, but it is. If you want to know something, ask.
Second that if they haven’t brought it up then it’s prob not a requirement, also check your offer letter. I recently went through the app process and on every offer letter there was mention of a vax requirement

It wasn’t in my offer letter but I asked to do an initial pre-Onboarding to get my computer, ask questions about health insurance, etc and my hr proactively told me about the vaccination requirement. You can’t assume the company will be on top of communicating this as part of their offer letter – you need to clarify this.
Which company?
