I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

There are very good product managers with 5+ years experience in product who can’t lock down a role in 3 months. Now is not the time to be switching careers, especially in product.
Be prepared for it to take a lot longer than 3 months.
Start applying today. It takes about 3 months from application to hire on average.
Start using your network to get warm intros, referrals, and insight into unposted or recently posted jobs.
But, again, be prepared. The number one thing tech companies want is tech company experience. They hire people without, but you are always at a disadvantage over someone who already has it.
Are you ready to take a pay cut and a much lower role? There isin’t a chance as PM1 mentioned that you’ll come in higher than a senior product manager which means your manager will be much younger than you. You will also be in an individual contributor role and start over essentially. You’ve stuck around in consulting for too long.
What SP1 said.. but I’ll add I’m not a fan of cover letters but it might make sense in your case.
You need to clearly communicate you’re not looking for GPM / Director level product roles because there’s not a chance in hell that’s happening, and that you’re willing to take a step back to a Product, or max Senior Product role depending on the company.
