Haven’t worked there but when I was exploring remote tax jobs I was told by a recruiter their tax senior range is $70k-$80k in Wisconsin or Minneapolis, I forgot which one exactly. My guess for experienced tax associate in that same market would be $60-$65k. Look at reviews on Glassdoor for your specific city.

I am curious how Onesource Income tax stacks up against it's competition.

Compliance question here, I have always thought of the SALT deduction on the fed return as a perm item & have treated as such in such sch M-3. I see that some people put it as a temp on sch M-3. What is the justification for treating it as a temp on the M-3. You don’t set up a deferred on the def RF for the state tax deduct & it is also a rate impacting item (I know that some temps can be rate impacting). But this all leaves me to side with perm. Does anyone know the logic behind temp treatment?

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?
