Dear Amdocs Hiring Team, Thanks for the worst experience. You guys took almost 2 months for hiring process, asked for all the documents, even shared the CTC breakup over email and at last after multiple follow ups over calls and emails, you replied by stating that "Unfortunately , we are not moving ahead with your candidature at moment." When I asked the reason, you are clueless till now what to say? You guys even don't have enough courage to respond my calls. #Amdocs #Hiring

Sure. Just do your best.
That’s all we can do, right? Thank you!
Did not have it quite this bad but years ago was in a similar dynamic with a really successful partner who was also a prolific gaslighter that developed nobody, left a trail of bodies, and drove away tons of highly competent associates over the years. Sooner or later everyone in this type of persons sphere of influence ends up in the cross hairs. Some are fired, but most are just gaslit until they quit or move onto work for someone else while the firm just buries it under the rug and does nothing about it. Cash and the status quo are king.
Is this an isolated incident or has it happened to other people?
Coach
I didn’t realize how much damage it caused until recently. It made me needlessly distrustful of the good people I currently work with for quite some time, but I eventually snapped out of it. That’s what being gaslit does to people, and these firms who let it happen deserve what’s coming to them.
I was recently in this same situation. Trust me that is not where you need to be. Thank the universe for blessings in disguise and stay hopeful! *Sending positive thoughts*
I was recently in a similar situation. The managing partner of my group was a massive gas-lighter... and last year, every associate in my class was eventually let go or left. I was let go out of the blue after he made unsupported claims about my work product. When I asked other partners I worked for about what happened, they claimed he never asked them about me / they didn’t agree with the decision.
It took awhile bc of the current state of the market, but I’m now at a better firm, working better hours, and making more. It’ll get better - just don’t give up or let this tool-bag ruin your sense of self-worth.
