I’m so sorry. I’ve been told to expect the job search process to take three months, but it could be faster.
Try a year
It all depends on the area of practice and geographical area.
First, if your resume is not readable by Applicant Tracking Software, your resume is not passing the first gauntlet. If you have been applying for a bit and haven't gotten any interviews a good recruiter coukd help. It's very important that they have ACTUAL relationships with the law firms and not a loose association (ex. Make sure they have placed multiple attorneys with that firm, worked with them for a number of years, and have a direct contact at a firm not just the portal/email on the firm page) otherwise a recruiter will hurt not help your search.
Get some references together ahead of time and offer them when having initial conversations/interviews. Though you should apply as much as possible but MAKE SURE YOU FIX YOUR RESUME FIRST.
Depends on how in demand your practice area and how competitive your background is.
2 years.
