I do IT support, Shopify maintenance, SEO (CTR +45%, add-to-cart +53%, session duration +32%, clicks +65% in 3 months), Python scripts for inventory automation, and cybersecurity risk oversight (prevented vendor API key exposure). I feel my boss mostly sees me as the college student who fixes tech stuff, but my work spans technical support, store maintenance, SEO, automation, and even risk mitigation. What’s a fair hourly wage for this mix?

Hello, after doing some research I believe I’m being underpaid. About 4 months ago HR did a market analysis for my role. They bumped my salary for about $2k. I’m a mid-level Executive assistant with 6 years of experience and currently supporting 5 executives at a fortune 50 company. One C level and 4 Vice Presidents. I’m currently making $61,000 with bonus included. Based on my research I should at least be making $71,400. I have a check in with my boss tomorrow and I am asking for a raise.

If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
