I work for a Fortune 500 company, publicly traded. It has no maternity leave, 6 holidays. No sick days (must use PTO). Total of 15 PTO. No summer hours. Is this the worst benefit you see out there? (I also want to add that we are required to go back to the office now even with Covid number increasing)

One of every 850 people in the state of North Dakota has died from COVID. We are a terrible country.

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

Her status in the US is currently complicated and she doesn’t have a green card(tho she’s working on it), my wife(her daughter) is American.

I want to report this to the FBI’s elder fraud department but I don’t want to complicate her situation even more.

may try to offer lower than what was
