I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

I work in federal government & not in IT so take this with a grain of salt — but yes. It’s typical of government . This is where people come to ride out their career in a comfortable job, get their pension & go home. Nobody is interested in doing anymore than what is required.
Thank you. It's better to keep my expectations down.
LOL welcome to government work. It's really a shame but I'd say this is more common than not. There are a few sectors/agencies in public service that prioritize modernization and keeping abreast of new technologies, but they're few and far far between in my experience.
