If Tech Mahindra HR is telling that after joining he will take care of onsite. It is US project. So in U4 Tech Lead position is it possible to send someone US onsite in L1/business Visa?? Shall I consider the onsite opportunity what HR is telling?? Or I should consider other companies to join. Please suggest I am really confused. Accenture Tech Mahindra Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

#1) let's start with salary
#2) geographic location
#3) COL for the location
#4) exactly what licenses/certifications/degrees do you hold?
Not exactly sure how baseball fields fit into this equation as that would (in an extremely liberal scope of work) fall under grounds keeping and not "engineering and/or facility maintenance"... but neither does "ice technician " and again completely unrelated to your role a refrigeration engineer operating a 115 ton ammonia refrigeration systems, and this sounds more like that of someone running a small to mid scale facility maintenance management operation for a sports stadium....
To be honest with you, I'd be less worried about your salary and more with the broad scope of your role, especially with the parts that don't even relate to facility maintenance. The maintaining of a baseball diamond and ice skating rink is a big red flag to me. I think it's time you really evaluate the leadership in your union, and continuing to stay in that union is realistic if that scope of work doesn't send chills down their spine.
I'm fully licensed and thats gross pay , ive also 15 years inti the position. Im basically at the point where if i dont get atleast mid range wages , im going to walk awaymand they can close the facility ...wouldn't be in their best interests since theres a Jr a hockey team high school team and more than 30 minor hockey teams that use the facility from 6am- 12am monday - sunday..
Personally, I'd look external.... I'm sure there's some leeway in the CAD to USD conversion, but... I make 400% your salary and the scope of my work is roughly 25%. Whoever is in charge of negotiations between your union and employer seems to be grossly unaware of what exactly engineers, facility maintenance, and people in the trades make in 2025.
