I worked remotely as an admin for 3 years and was never absent, even when sick. I lost my grandmother and father and care for a child with CHD, yet continued working. I was labeled “unreliable,” often belittled, and left emotionally drained. There are no leave benefits or space to grieve. Now I’m being asked to train my replacement before termination. I’m seeking a company that values respect and compassion.

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? At the moment I'm with ucla health as an admin assistant float permanent& have been offered permanent placement at a site in LA about 16 miles .
