Hi bowl. I’m starting to get annoyed with my SO’s mom who is white. She’s said a few problematic things so far about Asians. I don’t want to be the representative of my culture and keep explaining and correcting her naive generalizations. They’re mostly harmless (“oh! Is that because status is so important in your culture? Oh! Why do Asians take so many photos?”) How do you suggest I approach this? Please share any experiences- thank you.
